Our infrastructure upgrades proved to work - bears did not get to our bees this season. It appears we finally have the right setup.

2019 - 2023 learning to keep bees in bear country
It took us 4 years to figure out how to protect our bees from bears. Now it appears we are ready to get back to our goal of breeding bees.
We hope that we will have one or two colonies that will survive the 2023-2024 winter - we are back to step number one.
